TITLE: Product Marketing Manager
LOCATION: Carrollton, TX

Position Overview


The Product Marketing Manager will help plan and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for propelling the growth of the Jack Black brand via product education & newness, expansion of the product portfolio, overarching brand awareness, new customer acquisition and marketing communications. This position will report to the Marketing Director and will partner closely with cross functional teams including Product Development, Creative, Purchasing, Planning, Sales & International.

Responsibilities


• Collaborate with Marketing Director to craft product strategies & experiences that engage new and existing customers through an omnichannel ecosystem:

o Determine new and existing product positioning, pricing, claims, naming structure, aid in marketing copy, and partner with Creative team on artwork
o Develop detailed plans for new product launches across brick and mortar and online channels including sales strategy, supporting collateral and merchandising tools, along with communication to field sales team.
o Oversee development and execution of retailer specific marketing promotions and visuals including new sign packages, plannograms, product brochures/training manuals and product videos

• Plan and develop Sales Aid Packages for field teams
• Help position product marketing strategy through 3rd party relationships including (but not limited to): Search, Shopping, Re-marketing/Programmatic, PR, Social, Reviews, Auto-Replenishment, etc.
• Work closely with product development, creative, sales, and international to develop marketing, merchandising and promotional programs to drive global product successes
• Oversee internal product processes (i.e. Brief creation & submission) of marketing team
• Track Marketing expenses within budget determined by Marketing Director 

 

Experience & Qualifications


• 3-5+ years of experience in marketing and/or product development roles of increasing responsibility and seniority in the retail industry (preferably in beauty or personal care).

o Specific experience in Product Marketing and/or Branding required

• Experience working across departments, with demonstrated success planning and accomplishing goals.
• Skilled at leading others, but fully capable of accomplishing tasks independently when needed.

o Strong team player with the drive to help assure high quality standards.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively manage time and respond to changing priorities in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong combination of both creative and analytical skills a must; ability to proactively gather, analyze and evaluate complex data.
• Strong computer skills a must (proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
MBA a plus, but not required.
